Until recently in a Webex meeting, I could keep visual focus on me, as presenter, even when others spoke. In the new version, it seems that the focus capability is gone, but I can place my video on the "stage". I can also deselect "show active speaker in stage". Then I can select the option "Sync my stage for everyone". That seems to place the focus on the presenter. Is there another way?
The problem is that when a participant in the meeting asks a question, they then appear in focus temporarily. Is there a way to prevent this? In the workshops that I teach via Webex, losing focus is a problem. I can tell everyone to mute themselves and only unmute for questions, but users don't necessarily mute again, and then background noises will put the focus back on them repeatedly. This is a big nuisance. Is there a way to keep the focus on me and my designated "stage".
Thanks in advance for any help.
