"Moderate space" not showing up on Webex spaces

Hello,

we have a customer testing Webex app (as far as I know licenses were purchased already).

For some reasons they cannot get the Moderate Space feature working.

It simply will not show up under the space options as per Webex article:

https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/gw1w6c/Webex-App-|-Moderate-a-space

Can anyone reading this post provide details on whether this may depend on licensing / Webex version / any other tip?

Many thanks

Marco

I found out that two plans do not let you choose who gets added to a space.

The Free Plan and the Call Plan.

Moderating a space is also tied to how it was created.  If a Team is created and a space is created under that "Team" it can be moderated.  If a space is created and is NOT part of Team, it cannot be moderated.  Hopefully this helps.

Thanks Katy, I double-checked your mentioned points already, but unfortunately that did not help.

"Moderate space" did not show up in any case.

Thanks for your help.

Marco, did you figure out how to solve this? I am having the same issue.

I found out that two plans do not let you choose who gets added to a space.

The Free Plan and the Call Plan.

Hi Cshotwel,
I have not found a clear solution for this but I eventually assumed it was related to features licensing and plan.

As you mentioned the Basic and Call plans does not seem to include the "Control participants" feature.

The detailed description of such feature is :"Space is where you exchange messages with team members. Free users can add and remove users from spaces they create. With a paid plan, you can add and remove users from any space.") which seems related to moderating indeed.

Thank you for sharing this, I will accept it as a solution.
