Removal of "<Person> is controlling your application. Click to gain.."

Hi All,

Is there any way to remove this panel when someone is controlling your shared screen?

The person who is controlling the screen, constantly sees a grey box following their mouse pointer.

I've tried ctrl-shift-Q to remove all panels, which it does. But doesn't remove the annoying floating box.

Anyone have any ideas?

I have the same issue and in fact has caused problems when the other side is needing to control my desktop as that seems to interfere with activities.  I am using a citrix RDP session so maybe that plays a role as well.  It seems that if I move my mouse to a secondary monitor it gets better.  I could find nothing in settings to disable this notification as its duplicitous as there is an item at hte top of the screen that indicates the same thing with no box popup.
