Share screen is black on Fedora

I just want to share my knowledge of a issue I got with the WebEx Client via Chrome that I couldn't share my screen. It just got black and no one in the meeting could see my presentation, after a long time reading and testing I found out that this is not only a Fedora question it also apply on Ubuntu and Debian.

I use Fedora 34 in may case and the issue is not the distribution in this case it is that it use Wayland Display Server and Wayland have issues give access to other applications to share the display.

I found multiple solutions for this but I think the easiest way is to logout from your Linux Dist and Log back in again using Gnome over X11 and try to share the screen again.

In Fedora can you find it when you click on your login name you will see a settings icon in the right bottom of the screen and you can then select GNOME over X11.

Login as normal and open the meeting again it should now work.

But other ways to solve this can you find here.

I hope this help someone else in the future.

Cheers
