Webex status and profile pic not consistently displayed or working

Webex works little weird, usually the status for contact is missing, today observed that the profile pic for contact is missing.

That’s likely a bug. Since you’re a Cisco employee/contractor you may be running a build not available to the rest of us. Please open a support ticket internally. Help the BU fix it before it gets released to paying customers.
