Q: Sure it will be answered, but please provide any links to licensing requirements/process and any other "admin" related functions (how to enable/deploy Socio, provision users, etc).
A: We'll have links for you as far as next steps with engaging with Socio (Community Event Posting contains links to engage Socio). We'll touch on more of your question but can also discuss further. Provisioning and deploying Socio is very easy - the main users are marketers, and no coding is needed to set up your events!
Q: Is Socio going to be added to existing Meetings customers on Flex/Flex 3.0 or only via Webex Suite?
A: Currently, Socio can be added on standalone. Webex Suite Enterprise Agreement Customers can work with their Account Reps to move forward with Socio.
Q: Is registration required or optional? Thank you
A: Socio offers a registration platform, or you can use a 3rd party. Or depending on your event needs, no pre-registration is required (e.g. making your mobile app open to the public, or having a code to get access)
Q: Can presenters or attendees join Socio from Cisco Webex Room/Desk Endpoints?
A: Yes! We'll cover using Webex and Socio together in the presentation today.
Q: thanks for hosting this, team. Can you talk about how Socio integrates into Webex today or what the roadmap may hold for the future?
A: We sure will.
Q: Is it possible to use registration form templates for many different events?
Can one share those registration form templates with collages within the own company?
A: Yes! We have very flexible and powerful Excel templates for registration and content that can be used for multiple events!
Q: Is there any integration with Socio and Salesforce? Socio and Blackthorn Events integration?
A: There are possibilities with integrating Salesforce registrant data into Socio. As for Blackthorn events, our engineers could explore the integration possibilities based on what you're looking for.
Q: OOOOOOOHHHH The video messaging would potentially allow for attendees to converse with others in ASL!!
A: Yes!! That is a perfect use case!
Q: Can participants see each other?
A: For the main stage streams, no, but our Chat, Q&A, Polling, and Custom Tab features help attendees feel that engaging audience feeling! For participants to see each other face to face, we have private video chatting, video rooms, or you could link to say a Webex Meeting.
Q: Are there live analytics? During the event?
A: Yes! The analytics update in real time, and exports of data show a real time snapshot as well. And during streams you can see the number of attendees. And the analytics keep tracking after the event!
Q: You may have covered this, but I got distracted. What streaming options are there...I believe Cisco recently did an event using vBrick. What options are there?
A: Very flexible! We can dive in in the presentation.
Q: Can people join via video conference rooms if they are enabled to dial out to Webex?
A: Currently Socio has its native video rooms feature, or you can certainly link to a Webex Meeting!
