Q&A
1. How long will Webex Events (classic) continue to be available?
a. There's no timeline yet. Please stay with the community for future updates.

2. I use the stage feature often. Earlier when Aude was speaking, I saw her screen bigger and then her much smaller -- is this a new part of the feature?
a. This is part of stage view sync. In the past, whenever host sync the stage, attendee’s view always reset to 50/50 for the video. In the latest version, when the sync happens, whatever the host’s view is, that will be synced to all attendees (in this case, host can have one big video with the video being small).

3. Will similar features come to Webex Training?
a. Don’t think so since no new developments are planned for Training

4. Will the download after the event allow for only attendees who stayed the whole time or passed a quiz? Say for like a certificate to be issued?
a. Currently materials can be downloaded if a registrant is approved. We’ll look into this. Thank you for your feedback!

5. Will reporting be available for global program's, showing who attend and completed for all sessions? or will we need to run separate reports
a. in phase 1, reporting for program showing who attended which webinars isn’t available. The reporting at program level will be targeted as a fast follow. Thank you for your feedback.
Can you point me to any details that is available re: security and privacy with Webex Webinars

6. Would the Participant Attention feature be added in new releases?
a. We are looking into this feature.

7. That will be great include Music on Hold on Practice Session
a. This is in our backlog.

8. Hoping the ability to share a file/slide deck to attendees during practice session comes soon the Webinars. (It is in Events Classic.)
a. This will be addressed in a future release, stay tuned.

9. When are we able to join the webinar with Webex device as an attendee?
a. Our engineering team is working on this, no ETA yet.

10. Any updates/schedule on the decoupling of the Webex Assistant and closed captioning on clusters other than B? (No host involvement needed for enabling CC.)
a. Due to global supply shortage, we're still waiting for the supply required to GA this feature. We will enable it as soon as we get all the necessary supplies. Stay tuned.

11. Does the webinar material appear in the registration page or in the email invitation, or both?
a. Attendees can access the files after being invited or after registrations through the Webinar info page


12. The material that can be shared in practice session, can it be PPT instead of image? Can we play music?
a. For now, it is a file.

13. Webinar materials - it would be great that files will be shown at the end of the webinar …not after registration or in the meeting
a. We will look into this. Thank you for your feedback!

14. Can you share handout docs during the session? Also if you want to start your webinar with a recording, will we have the chance to previously upload it?
a. Sorry, can you elaborate “share handout docs during the session”? What experience are you looking for?
For start webinar with a recording – when this capability is available during practice session, a video can be uploaded previously.

15. In the future will we be able to map Slido Rooms to Webex Breakout Sessions? Say, Main Session, Breakout session 1, 2,..N.
a. We will look into this. Thank you for the feedback!

16. Can you schedule a Webinar that lasts two days with the same link for both days?
a. We are working on this. We do not have an ETA yet.

17. Is it possible to obtain statistics of how many reactions were shown on the Webinar and which reactions were, like claps or thumbs up, thumbs down...?
a. Not currently. This is something we will look into. Thank you for your feedback!

18. Will recording in the breakout rooms be available?

19. How can I authenticate for Slido in the webinar? Profile button just presents name field as read only.
a. As attendee, no authentication is needed. As a host, you signed into the client via Webex and are authenticated for Slido.

20. How can music be shared from a separate audio source than the speaker?
a. Currently, computer audio can be shared when user do screen/app share with computer audio enabled

21. Will breakout sessions allow dial-in calling users?
a. Our engineering team is working on this. Stay tuned!

22. During the breakout session it will be possible showing a custom slide/content to the attendees who will not in breakout session?
a. Content share in breakout can only be seen inside (not outside) of breakout session.

23. Is this compatible with Webex for broadworks?

24. We use Webex Events for webinars but the registration was bad. How do we get access to these new features - including improved registration?
a. Update your Webex client to ensure you are on latest release and are using Modern View on the webex web pages

25. The translation will be a breakout session attendees will join if they want to hear that language; The content from the main room will display there?
a. The attendee can choose which audio channel to listen to while in the main room!

26. How will someone know their ID if they drop and re-join a webinar more than 5 minutes later?
a. Whenever attendee tries to join via dial-in, attendee ID will be displayed on the client so he can join using the ID.

27. Does Webex Webinars required a plug in to attendees in order to access the session?
a. No browser plugin required to join webinar

28. Webinars with registration and NO auto-approval - Users to not get a pending email anymore is that coming ( Webex Event Classic had this feature)
a. We're working on closing the gaps between Event Classic and Webinar, no ETA yet.

29. In which version email templates modification would be available?
a. 42.1

30. How can we download the list of users that attended a webinar after the event?
a. Through the attendee report.

31. The email template needs to be created before we send the invite? Or can we change it later?
a. There is the default template to use and if customer like, they can customize and then use it

32. Can we send the email template to a mailer? or just to individual users?
a. To individual users.

33. Any update when the Webex scheduler can schedule a webinar?
a. Engineering is working on this, no ETA yet.

34. What if an attendee is re-joining the webinar with only dial-in and no computer, how will they know what their ID is?
a. If user just dial-in with a phone, there won't be attendee ID.

35. If I join via mobile, it asks me to open slido. When closing& attending the webinar stream, how do I go back to the slido (except opening it in the slido app)?

36. With breakout sessions coming to Webex Webinar is there any future for Training Center?
a. a. No end of sale date has been announced for Training Center.

37. When will Event Center (Classic) become obsolete?
a. No date yet.

38. We have a broadcast studio that "joins" Webex with a sound board but aren't able to play music without picking up background noises. Any guidance?

39. When will Webex Events (classic) be deprecated?
