Hello Everyone
I Have AP 1572EAC and cisco Antenna directional 14dbi
I just need to know what this antenna can provide distance to another AP with same Antenna ??
and If I want to buy another Antenna (different type like radio-wave) or any different brand with high gain (30dbi)
It will compatible with AP or not
Thank you

The recommended tool for estimating distance and coverage for the AP1570, is the Coverage and Capacity Calculator
For third party antenna, you need to check if they use the same type of connector as Cisco.
Keep in mind that regulations may prevent an antenna with more gain than Cisco recommends.
The keyword here is ERP (effective radiated power).
With higher gain antenna, you may need to lower output power to keep ERP within legal limits!
Effectively resulting in same range as standard Cisco antenna.

I see no technical problem, only regulatory as mentioned before.
in the AP you cannot configure the antenna by type, but you can selct "other" and enter the antenna gain manually.

Like pieterh stated.... you can use any antenna you want as long as its the proper connector. It's your responsibility to stay within the regulatory legal guidelines. However, higher gain antenna works for point to point or backhaul for mesh, but for client associations, not too much.
