Hi

I need a help on Cisco Mobility Express setup.

I have one AP1832i running CME image. After initial setup, it fully reboots but do not broadcast SSID and can't get to Web GUI. I have a laptop connected to same switch and able to ping CME vWLC but when i console into 1832, i can't ping laptop nor switch.  I rebooted several times and ran initial setup several times but it wont let me access webgui.. when i tried to telnet to port 443 from laptop, it is not opening.

anyone had this kind of issue with AP 1832 CME?

Hi

Honestly, you probably is facing some problem with your gear. This kind of AP is meant to be almost plug and play.

I´d recommend to try a different software version and even better, try to RMA this device, if possible.

What typically happens is when you define your vlan tag, that is if you did. If you defined a plan tag during the setup or after the setup, make sure you configure the port the ap is connected to as a trunk and that the native vlan is something other than what you used for the WLC vlan id.
