Below procedure for installing from prime 3.10 to 3.10.1
Pre-requisite for any MR release upgrade
- Take the backup of prime db on external tftp server (recommended).
- If you are running on VM than take a snap-shop of prime VM so you can restore it
- Take the backup of all the maps and other reports on external tftp server.
Prime 3.10 to Prime 3.10.1 (MR1) upgrade procedure
Taking Database Backup on prime 3.10 server (Base Version):
- 1. Login to Prime 3.10 CLI server with Admin user
- type this command to take backup:
admin#backup <backupfilename> repository defaultRepo application NCS
- Once backup success, go to repository and check the file size.
Restoring Database on after Prime upgrade to 3.10.1:
- 1. Login to Prime 3.10.1 CLI server with Admin user
- type this command to restore DB backup:
admin#restore <file-name> repository <repo or repository-name> application NCS
- Once restore successful, you can check the NCS status.
