Resolution
When running VxWorks, the serial number of the 1200 series Access Point (AP) is displayed on the Express Setup page. For a graphic representation of this VxWorks display, see the Configuring the Access Point section of Quick Start Guide Cisco Aironet 1200 Series Access Points.
When running Cisco IOS Software, the serial number of the 1200 series AP is displayed on the System Software page when using the Graphical User Interface (GUI). It can also be displayed by issuing the show version command when using the Command Line Interface (CLI).
