Resolution

The Cisco Aironet 340 and 350 Series Bridges can be connected to the same LAN segments, but cannot communicate wirelessly.

Although Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) can be disabled on non-root Cisco Aironet 350 Series Bridges, they are not designed to interoperate. If both Cisco Aironet 340 and 350 Series  Bridges are used on the network, make sure the 340 series bridges have radio bridge links only to other 340 series bridges, and that 350 series bridges have radio  bridge links only to other 350 series bridges.

For more information on incompatibility, refer to the Cisco Aironet 350 Series Bridges Incompatible with 340 Series Bridges section of Release Notes for Cisco Aironet 340 and 350 Series Access Points and Bridges Running Firmware Version 12.02T1.

Note: The Cisco Aironet 350 Series Bridge which runs VxWorks cannot be  converted to Cisco IOS .
