Core Issue

The Access Point (AP) or bridge temporarily disables the Domain Name System (DNS) when it believes the server is having problems. When an AP/bridge is unable to connect to the DNS server, it disables DNS lookups and issues the following message:

(Warning): Repeatedly failed to connect to DNS Server.

Temporarily DISABLING DNS lookups for 5 minutes.

.

Resolution

These messages can be ignored . But make sure DNS server is reachable.

To re-enable DNS lookups immediately , select Disabled for the Domain Name System setting on the Name Server Setup page and click Apply. Then select Enabled and click Apply.

But When the access point re-enables the DNS automatically you recieve  the follwoing message  " Warning): RE-ENABLING DNS lookups. Lookups were suspended 5 minutes after repeated failures to connect to a DNS Server."
