I am setting up a 541N AP trunked to a Cisco SGE 2000 trunked to an ASA 5510.
I have DHCP set up on the ASA 5510.
When I connect to a port on the Cisco SGE 2000 in the right VLAN, the device picks up an IP address from the ASA.
When I connect to the wireless VAP on that VLAN, it does not pick up an address. I know that they are on the same VLAN, because a wireshark sniff on a device on wireless sees traffic from the device that is connected to the hard wired port.
Other VLAN's on this AP are able to pick up DHCP leases (which come from a different device).
Any ideas.

Chris,
Check the subnet mask for the VLAN also check the VLAN tagging. Please provide a diagram with VLAN, IP and Port assignments.

I think the device ended up with some issues. It actually got to the point where I couldn't bring up the admin web page (it just kept refreshing in my browser). I reset the device to factory settings, and then rebuilt the configuration, and things worked.
