CBW240AC setup 'Challenges'

Hi all, would really appreciate some help and guidance. have x5 CBW240-AC which I am trying to configure to broadcast a single SSID across a large area. I am not using mesh extenders and they will all be wired back to the core switch.

I have configured the first AP (using the webUI) and added all MAC addresses of the remaining AP's into the WLAN users list. I can successfully connect to the SSID and browse the internet with no problems through this AP.

When I boot any of the other 4 AP's they simply cycle on Red, Amber, Green (I've left them overnight and its the same in the morning. From the Cisco documentation it would suggest I simply boot all the other AP's, they pick up the config and decide on a primary AP on their own, but they never complete a boot cycle so are not visible in any UI. I see no SSID's which would suggest they are even broadcasting the initial 'setup' WIFI network. However, if I power off the configured AP, the remaining AP's will boot.

All are on the same subnet, I can see DHCP addresses being assigned.

All are on 10.6.x.x firmware and connected to a single switch delivering POE to all devices.

Mgmt network is set to a static IP, AP's are currently DHCP

Q1 - What am I doing wrong?

Q2 - If I configured them all individually (with identical config) and then booted them all, would they join and be visible in the managment UI?

Many thanks in advance.

so there is something in the first configured AP's configuration that prevents them to join
i can only guess here, you give no information for me to look into
but check if this AP has an DHCP server active that interferes with your local network DHCP server

-> start with the "remaining" AP's booted,
search which AP has become master and then redo your configuration on this master
reset your last AP to factory default an see if it joins the other set
