Cisco AP500 series Wireless Access Points range

Hello,

My name is Abayomi Olatidoye. I am recently engaged by a client to convert his network to wireless network. My client operates in an office with 8 floors and also concrete walls. On making my research i came about your product Cisco AP500 Series Wireless Access Points.

I will like to know if this product can work for my client perfectly or I will need to get other enhancement to make it work at its optimum.

Abayomi,

I wouldn't go with AP500 Series access points with that type of environment. Its best to look toward our Aironet series AP's.

Thanks so much for your quick response.

I have read about the products from the link you sent to me and it as really satisfied my questions.

However, I will then like to ask if I can use 1 or more Aironet series AP's on each floor and then control all with Cisco wireless controller 2500 or 5500 series.
