Can the new AP541N's be used to expand the wireless coverage area for a small business using UC540 with integrated wifi? There seems to be some confusion about what is possible and supported. This would be for voice over wireless use.

rhalper,
The AP541 is specifically designed with the UC5xx platform in mind. It has been carefully molded to fit with a variety of Small Business Pro devices such as the ESW switches, SA5xx firewalls, SR5xx routers, and of course the UC5xx platform.

The references designs for SBCS 2.0 Voice over Wi-Fi deployments do not support combining the integrated UC 500 access point with external AP541N
access points within a customer site.

So then if I'm reading the guide correctly it appears to be one or the other, meaning you either deploy a wireless network only with the integrated UC540 AP or you use the AP541's if the UC540 range is not sufficient, but not both at the same time for range expansion. That seems like a big set back of the solution design since often a customer may want to leverage the UC540 integrated wireless but expand coverage to adequately cover an entire office.
