I seem to be having trouble understanding the logic of this feature:
- The AP allows the creation of multiple Captive Portal Instances
- These Captive Portal Instances can be assigned to various VAP's (essentially different SSID's and different VLAN's - if not different VLAN's, what would be the point have having multipls SSID's)
- The Captive Portal feature will only work if users on the various VAP's can access the management VLAN.
Could someone from Cisco give us a scenario where there is any benefit/value to this feature? Because I see none whatsoever and can't think of any good use for this the way that it is implemented.
