Poor range and speed in AIR-CAP1602E-A-K9 with AIR-ANT2524V4C-R= antenna

Hi everyone

I bought an AP (1602) and already downloaded the firmware to make it work in autonomous mode (ap1g2-k9w7-xx.153-3JC)

I configured it with basic parameters:

SSID

Encryption (aes-ccm)

VLAN

Security credentials

According with the data sheet AP should provide 802.1n, that is speed up to 300 Mbps, nevertheless, when is close to my computer, provides 72,2 Mbps and when is in the center of the area that I need to cover, provides 5,5 Mbps and coverage range is poor (compared with a Linksys E2500, and other home products, like TPLINK, Belkin, Dlink and ASUS)

Is there some advance configuration I can do to solve the issue?
