I'm having the same exact issue.
I have a Sonos and an AppleTV. I lose connectivity to both, very often. I've tracked down this issue with both manufacturers and have come up with the one common denominator, this wireless router. If I reconnect my iPhone or iPad to the wireless, the functionality returns. It's a pain to have to disconnect and reconnect so often.
Any ideas on a solution or better configuration to try?

Hi Mark, thank you for using our forum, my name is Johnnatan I am part of the Small business Support community. I apologize for this inconvenience, in this case you can check the MTU size, I will recommend you 1500 but you can adjust as better works for you, also this kind of behavior could be interference, you could move the device to other places or change the configuration, the channels, decrease a little bit the security level.
I will share a document in order to improve you wireless signal, https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-29821
I hope you find this answer useful

Sad to say but my issue has returned. It worked for a little while, but now it's back to shutting the wireless off on my iPhone and restarting in order to use the Sonos or AppleTV.
I found this on the Sonos site. Does any of this make sense?
"The Sonos Controller for iPhone, iPad, or the Sonos Controller for PC or Mac when attached wirelessly to these routers will not associate or connect to any Sonos Components. These model routers/residential gateways discard all broadcast and multicast packets to the SSDP destination port (UDP Port 1900). During the association process, the Controller for Mac or PC and the ZonePlayer must communicate over this port per UPnP standard implementation."
