Hello
I use two WAP 121 in my office. The two WAP121 are configured to a cluster and have the same SSID.
The problem with the WAP121 I have is, that they disconnect the devices, the device can connect, after a few seconds the devices are disconnect again. I do not know where the problems is comming from.
The firmware is the current firmware 1.0.6.5.
In the attachment there are the log file and a screenshot of the WAP121 information. May someone finds a hint for me how I can fix the problem. I would be very happy!
Cheers Tom

Hi,
The behaviour that you are describing could be happening due to numerous reasons (interference from other wireless sources such as access points, DECT phones, microwaves, electiral signals, etc), configuration errors or network issues. It also depends on your WAP placement in case they are close to each other - if both have strong signal devices can hop between the two WAPs and experience intermittent connectivity.
I'd suggest to give us a call so an engineer can open a support ticket and assist you as the cause of the problem may not be easy to identify.

Hello João,
Clients could be dropping for a number of reasons:
- Weak signal
- Interference
- WAP is overloaded (too many clients)
- Problems with end device
And the list goes on. Do you have this problem on a particular client or all clients?
Did you make any changes before the issue started happening?
Have you performed a factory reset on the unit?
The quickest way to identify the cause of the issue is to contact our support center so an engineer can assist you further.
Thanks,
Kris

Hi Kris
Thanks for your hints.
- Weak signal
-> no the signal is good
- Interference
-> there are only 2 WLAN APs in the house
- WAP is overloaded (too many clients)
-> there are only 4-5 Clients on two WAP
- Problems with end device
-> This I am going to check next week.
Thanks and best regards

Hello Kris,
I m sorry beeing so "empty" in my informations.
The situation with wap 121 is hapenning only on one customer.
Resume:
1 wap 121
12 clients associated
good range - 15 meters radius
clients disconnect and connect "....reason 3...", several times during a day
Last fw version ( applied two days ago)
Everything worked fine for about 1 and half year, until 3 monthes ago.
The equipment is not under warranty.
Any help would be appreciated.
