WAP561-A-K9: Low Throughput For Internet Access

I have our laptops, iphones disconnecting and then it takes the device a while to be able to reconnect to the access point (unless you manually disable wifi and enable it again).

Ive been trying to figure out how this would be possible but so far I have no clue.
Running Firmware 1.0.4.4, The Radio is set to 20Mhz (also on 20/40 same result) with a static channel (6), there is no other wifi ssid's around us so that cant be it. We use WPA2 keys and all the other settings are pretty default. (No QOS, No VLAN, No guest)

Raised SR with Cisco with SR636968789  and there is no response from the support engineer. can someone help us return this to cisco

Hi Sai

Try upgrading the WAP to the latest firmware. There are a few release notes that improved the AP from dropping connections and download speeds. A link to the download page is below:

https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=284798763&softwareid=282463166&release=1.0.3.4

For your convenience, a guide on how to upgrade the firmware is below:
