I'm implementing a new network for a school that I'm volunteering for. The bulk of the classrooms are located about 100 yards away from the main office (accross a parking lot). My plan was to have our internet access and file server located in this main office hard wired in a WAP4410N. This would provide wireless access for local users as well as provide either a client/repeater functionality to a group of WAP4410N's in the classrooms on the other side of the parking lot.
Currently, I have the core AP (in the main office) set up with it having the ability to repeat to the first AP (at the remote classroom). The second AP is configured with the same SSID, Channel, etc.; however, I'm getting mixed results from my wireless clients on that remote side of the network. I don't seem to be able to provide a consistent connection to those remote clients. Am I missing something in my design or configuration? If there are more details that would help, I'd be happy to provide.
