WRVS4400N-EU - Wireless connection problems with iPhone 4

Hello,

i have some Wireless Connection trouble with a Cisco Router (WRVS4400N-EU) and a iPhone 4.

These are the current problems with my Cisco router:

  1. Conection with the iPhone 4
The wireless connection is set up and working. However, after a long standby, the wireless is still shown as connected to the network, but access does not exist anymore. Only disable and enable the wireless network again provides the use of WLANs.
I have tried to circumvent this problem as I awarded a static IP. However, it brings no improvement.
The encryption is set to wpa2 personal.
  2. Other devices to connect via WLAN
    The Internet access works.
But the server or its shares are displayed only when connected via LAN, not wireless.
A link to the server via IP is possible.
Tested: OS X Snow Leopard, Windows 7

Has anywhere this problem?

Ideas to solve this?

Regards

Cornelius

Any Ideas?

We have simular issues with wireless disconnects to server resources for no apparent reason.  We are also questioning the actual overall throughput of this device.  Any comments would be appreciated.

Are you running the latest firmware on the WRVS?  If not I would upgrade to the latest and then set the router

back to factory defaults.
