We recently purchased a dozen 1142's which I added to our 4404 controller running version 6.0.196.0.
I can't connect with the 802.11n protocol to any WLAN configured with WPA2 Enterprise, WEP, or WPA Enterprise with a pre-shared key.
I successfully connected using the 802.11n protocol after creating a new WLAN with no Layer 2 or Layer 3 security.
What am I doing wrong?

You'll need either an Open SSID or one with WPA2/AES encryption. Check the following link for more...

John,
Thanks for your help.
Looks like the 3000 clients that currently use WPA2/AES with a pre-shared key to access the Internet won't be able to take advantage of 802.11N technology.
