I have a specific question regarding the following quote that I got from the cisco site:
"...to set up the access point for 11 megabits per second (Mbps) service only, select Basic for 11 and select Yes for the other data rates"
I would think that to setup an AP for 11Mbps service only, you would have to select Basic for 11 and select No for the other data rates.
Will you please explain?

Which document are you talking about ? Quoting from the document, http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps4570/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00801d0179.html ,
"You can use the Data Rate settings to set up an access point to serve client devices operating at specific data rates. For example, to set up the 2.4-GHz radio for 11 megabits per second (Mbps) service only, set the 11-Mbps rate to Basic and set the other data rates to Disabled."
