Why did Cisco remove NTP support with no notice? ie it's not documented in the release notes that I can see.
The "upgrade" removes any reference to "ntp server" thereby requiring further config changes to support it.

It's still there.
In the GUI it's under "Services|SNTP"
In the CLI, it's SNTP
Take a look.
Good Luck

I noticed the same thing. I must of missed this change in the release notes. Thank god for the WLSE. I should be able to create a custom template to send the change to all my AP's...

Ok, but in this case, our templates which includes commands like :
interface BVI1
ntp broadcast client
Did not work now !! ?
So how can we do ?

The sntp broadcast client in 12.3 is broken in that it does not understand NTP broadcasts from a NTP V4 server. I've got a case open on this, but as a workaround if you force the NTP server to claim its running V3, the AP will synch. On ntpd the command in ntpd.conf is:
broadcast 192.168.1.255 version 3
On the AP enter "sntp broadcast client" in config mode. (Its not on the interface anymore)
