Its been a while since I deployed a bridge and need a refresher.
If your power injector is powered on and connected to the network does it show on the switch as being up/up. I'm working remotely, supporting a client with a new bridge install and have up/up on the switch. When I trouble shoot the connectivity to the bridge I do not have CDP (its is enabled) and I do not have a mac on the port? My thought was because the injector is powered on, it is showing me L1, but because the bridge coax is not connected yet I do not see L2, or L3.Lets say the coax are connected - can the coax be reversed causing the switch port to show up/up?
Thanks in advance!
