1300 nonroot configuration

Need help with bridge configuration. Using two 1300s as root and wgb. WGB has 1200 attached to accept wireless clients. In current setup, clients authenticate, but do not get IP address. Should the WGB be configured as non-root? Can someone direct me to some bridge configuration examples?

I configured in a real world 2 AP1230, one as

Root and the other as WGB. It working fine, but you should know -->no VLAN,s supported.

If you interested, I can send you both configs.
