1572EAC Not joining WLC using PoE out port

Hi All

I am trying to deploy an AP in the field for a rapid deployment scenario on a mine site.

All of our existing fleet of 1572 APs are powered by DC and access the WLC via a PtMP backhaul system and set up as RAPs. They connect directly to the backhaul radios via Gi0. The Backhaul radios are powered from a different source.

In this situation we are trying to power the Backhaul radios using the 1572s PoE out port.

The only physical difference between this setup and all our other installations is that we are using the PoE out ethernet port (gi2) instead of the standard non PoE out port (gi0)

I was wondering if there is a limitation imposed here as the AP will not join the WLC when using this PoE out port.

 - Attach a console to the AP and follow the output of a cold boot. Watch for errors, if any.
