1852i AP not getting full power on Etherswitch POE module or Power Injector

Hi, I have an 1852i AP and my etherswitch module powers it at 15.4 W and when I use the power injector it does the same. When I use the original power supply it is full powered. I have raised the wattage on the etherswitch module but it does not make a difference. The AIR-PWRINJ4 power injector either. Does anyone know any configuration needed on the WLC? I have tried several settings with no success.

It could be this bug CSCuy27190 but not sure why the AIR-PWRINJ4 doesn't fix it.

Stumbled on this during a search myself and thought I would post this incase someone else finds their way here as well. The 1800 series AP's as well as probably most new AP's require a POE+ port which provides up to 57vdc. Specifically the 1852i requires a power input of 44-57vdc to run at full power. If you do not have POE+ ports, which ours do not, you will need to use an injector. When you use the injector make sure to disable POE on the port the AP is connected. The injector has some logic built in to it where if it detects an input voltage it will run in pass through mode and only apply the max voltage provided by the switch.

on the injector- Amber led=passthrough green led=providing power
