We are in a final layout design for a metro mesh project covering 2 square miles (and the town is pretty much a square shape). My question is for a real world application not the design spec sheet, and based on average home penetration; what is the least mean distance between Mesh Access Points. We presently have a layout using power poles at approx. 500 to 600 linar feet between AP's, Using one RAP for every 3 MAP's. Is this over kill? We intend to use the 1524 for dual backhaul.
Any comments would be most appreciated.
