2500(2504) Wireless Controller not DHCP forwarding ?? Help

Hello Everybody...

Our office has deployed (4) Cisco 2500 series Wireless controllers to manage our recently deployed Cisco APs (12 of them).  The APs are collapsed into small DLink switches, which inturn connect to the Controller(s).   We're at the point where we want the 2504 to forward DHCP requests to our ASA ( which is our existing DHCP server for our existing Wifi network ).  It doesn't appear to be working as our wireless enabled devices are not getting a valid IP address ( only "get" APIPA 169.254 etc... ) - even though the wireless enabled devices do get an authentication window for password entry.

We're using the GUI by the way.

Anybody got any ideas on where were screwing up???

Adrian

You need to disable DHCP proxy on the WLC. On the GUI, click in the Controller tab and then on the Advanced tab on the left (I think that's it). Uncheck DHCP proxy as the ASA will drop DHCP request from the WLC.
