Hello,
we have purchased 3702e and some of these access points can only get PoE (802.3af). In document http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/wireless/3700-series-access-point/data_sheet_c78-729421.html in table 1 under „Power draw“ is said one antenna will be deactivated:
802.3at 4x4:3 on 2.4/5 GHz 16,1W
802.3af 3x3:3 on 2.4/5 GHz 15,4W
Which antenna will be activated in this case?
Thanks,
Torsten

I thought this was a good question. I asked my Cisco SME, which by the way he is a BAD ASS. This is what he shared ..
Hi George,
The antenna that gets disabled is D. This is very easy to test out and see the results with the “show controller do X” command
With full power
Antenna: Rx[a b c d ]
Tx[a b c d ofdm all]
With reduced 15.4 power
Antenna: Rx[a b c ]
Tx[a b c ofdm all]
