Hi

I have a problem with my WLC inside de 3850 switch. I created 2 SSIDs mapped with vlan correspondient but when the final clients wants to associated with the AP, they Can`t. I have a DHCP server in the same switch but they cant obtain a IP Address.

This is the log:

Client xxxx.xxxx.xXx.XxXx () was added to exclusion list. Reason: VLAN not configured

The cuestion is the follow:

is necesary create a local policys to permit join the vlan in the SSIDs?

If anybody know about that tell me please.

Thanks a lot for you help.

Looks like some layer 2 vlan not configured.

Here is an example for Open Auth SSID in 3850, where client map to vlan 10. In this case vlan 10 should be on your switch & with SVI defined on the switch. DHCP pool to be defined to use that information.

wlan OPEN 16 OPEN
 client vlan 10
 no security wpa
 no security wpa akm dot1x
 no security wpa wpa2
no security wpa wpa2 ciphers aes
 no shutdown

If still issues, attach your "show run " configuration to check.

Its truth.

There was a problem mapping with the vlan using the string name in the configuration wlan.

Thank a lot for you help.
