I'm not a wireless guy so - this is new to me
I’ve got 2 switches:
Ground Floor
ZAOBSW01 - Wireless Lan Mobility controller
Installed 2 x1702 access point
Each access point broadcast 2 SSID's (TA_LAN & VC_Board_1)
2nd Floor
ZAOBSW02 - Wireless LAN Mobility Agent
Only 1 access point
Access point broadcast 2 SSID's (TA_LAN & VC_Board_2)
SSID -
TA_LAN - local LAN ssid (vlan 182)
VC_Board_1 - Video conference on the 1st floor (Vlan 50)
VC_Board_2 - Video conference on the 2nd floor (Vlan 50)
I need to roam on TA_LAN ssid between Access point and between floors with-out loosing connection
Floors are directly above one another & fibre connection between switches
Problem with DHCP on the 2nd floor switch:
I’m able to get an ip address on the ssid: - VC_Board_2 (Vlan 50)
I’m not able to get an ip address on TA_LAN (Vlan 182)
Troubleshooting:
When changing the client Vlan id from 182 to 50 on SSID TA_LAN – I get an ip address
Information -
I’ve read up that I need to do DHCP Snooping on the uplinks or the Global config + trusting
Still not working
