We have receptionists using the Guest management portal to setup accounts for visitors. They keep setting up users with long lifetimes. Is it possible to set this so they can only set a maximum of 1 day?

sorry, please read my first post.

"They keep setting up users with long lifetimes. Is it possible to set this so they can only set a maximum of 1 day?"

If the receptionist enters 31 days, they get the below error, but I want this to happen if they try 2 days

days : 31 : is an invalid value. Valid range is  0 <>  30

Make the necessary corrections and try again

Hi,

this is not possible on WLC to set max to 2 days.

you have to use ISE sponsor portal to achieve this.

Hi,

In ISE you have option to configure different time profile (as you want ) and call that profile while creating / setting up an account for visitors.

Go through the below link for configuration help.

Using WLC 5508 GUI.

Disable under the WLAN advance tab the session
time out option since this is used only when working with layer 2 authentication
like WPA PSK or WEP, and then under the controller tab set the client idle time
out the 0 for infinite or the requested time.

Hope this will be helpful ,do mark the answer correct if its helpful.
