why use mac filtering with webauth? jsut use webauth alone and finish the client flow (redirect, under username pass etc)

Hi,
If the mac-address in the database, we dont want the user to enter a username and password again. We just want to goto internet.
Like employee comes everyday to office, dont need to authenticate everyday.

I read some forum saying the 5760 supports the Central web-auth but not the web-redirect.
using login-method "Controller initiated" doesn't work towards IOS XE (5760, 3850).
Need to use login-method "Server initiated" which means CoA. This method is used for wired switches and referenced as MAB or MAC-filtering.
But yet to receive confirmation from cisco.

Hi Selvas
did you get confirmation web-redirect not support in 5760.
I'm trying to configure web-redirct but unfortunately no luck.

Im having an issue where the client is stuck in "WEBAUTH_PEND " on my 3850.
It all looks fine in ISE logs.

IP http server and
IP http secure-server
commands are required to web auth.
