8.3 foreign controller with 8.0 anchor

I need to upgrade one of my foreign controllers to 8.3. Is it safe to keep the anchor controller at 8.0? They are in production so I don't want to take any risks.

The first thing TAC will tell you is to ensure both are running the same code so it is a bit of a risk to run them on different codes and you may see random results on your guest WLAN.
