9120AXI Line Protocol Up Status Down

Monkeyclock1234

Hi,

I am having an issue with a 9120AXI and not sure how to fix it. I have it booted up after a config reset and it cannot seem to bring the line up. When I run sh interface brief it shows wired0 status down, Protocol up. I have tried setting an ip via capwap ip which didn't seem to help. I have it plugged into a Cisco AIR-PWRINJ6 for power. I have connected another device to this setup which can see the rest of my network and come up fine, but this AP I am having issues with. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

                >...init: ioctl(SIOCGIFHWADDR): wired0: No such device
 - Looks like a hardware problem, factory reset , is you still see the same RMA the AP ,

      - What is the interface status at or on the switch connection (side) ?
      - What is LED state on the AP ?

Interface status on the switch side is up/up. Led state is blinking Red/Green. From what I understand this means it is trying to find or join a controller, but I am assuming it is not finding it due to not having an IP address?

 - It could also mean insufficient power (blinking Red/Green) ; acquiring an IP address would go beyond wired0 being down.
Post the complete AP boot process to get insights

Hi there,

See attached.

Thanks

                >...init: ioctl(SIOCGIFHWADDR): wired0: No such device
 - Looks like a hardware problem, factory reset , is you still see the same RMA the AP ,

 M.

-- Each morning when I wake up and look into the mirror I always say ' Why am I so brilliant ? '
When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '

Okay reset did not work so going to assume hardware issue. Thanks
