9800 - CCX Location Measurement

Is there a reason to enable CCX Location Measurement if you are not using mobility services?

I am reading through this guide on 9800 RF configuration which recommends enabling it.

There is no need to have this enabled.  Personally I have only enabled this when using and MSX/CMX.
