I have created one Guest User; ITSGuest and let the wlc generate the password.

The Webauth Profile/SSID is TCVisitor/TCVisitor2 .  The AAA Method List is login/local.

I get a redirect and the login popup..

What am I missing?

besides 17.3.6 on a 9800-40

Hi ,

Well WCAE fails to parse the show tech file.  due to a boat load of parsing errors.  However

WLCCA 4.4(15) executes and reports:

230086,General: Web authentication parameter is not configured correctly : does not say WHAT is wrong.

320008,AP: Local credentials to access point CLI are not configured : Have not yet found where AP credentials are established but all should have the same..

Reminder : WCAE needs the output  of CLI  show tech wireless , not simple show tech !

Indeed, that is true.  But in this case it just dumped on the parsing errors, or otherwise produced no output.

WLCCA was a bit more forgiving.
