9800 wlc configuration with psk/mschap2

Hi We have c9800 wlc. and we would like to setup wlan with psk. We are not sure if the psk works with MSCHAPv2. Anyone share some experience? Thank you

PSK is an authentication method and does not work with MSCHAP, but not due incompatibility, it does not work because PSK does not need to use MSCHAP.

PSK is an authentication method by itself and once enable, the WLC will ask and wait for the Password only. If the Passwork hash match with the hash present on the WLC the user will be allowed.

Hi

MSCHAPv2 is used when you configure RADIUS with EAP. The MSCHAP is the protocol used to transport the username and password inside the RADIUS tunnel. On the WLC you are not allowed to decide which MSCHAP you want to use.
