Can I configure a H-REAP AP with the native vlan = locally switched vlan and leave the switch port as an access port on that vlan?
Here's why I ask.
I don't want to trunk the port which will require disabling dot1x on the port.
I do want to enforce dot1x authentication on the wireless clients.
The AP will be "portable" moving among sites having standardized vlan names & numbers.
Thanks!

Yes, you don't have to trunk the port to an HREAP, if it's only going to have the one WLAN/VLAN that it needs to hit. The only reason to trunk, is when you have multiple WLAN/VLAN that the AP needs to pass traffic for.
