Hello,

This is regarding Access point integration with WLC 5508.

Post downloading the software image from WLC Access points will be configured as per the production environment; however we are observing that the Access points (1620i) by default are having the radio interfaces Admin'd down.

The current software version that we are using on the WLC is: 8.0.121.0.

Regards,

Rinat S K

Fill in the details.  There is nothing "private" or "confidential" about this.

Besides making sure that the the regulatory domain settings match, also check if the "out-of-box" feature is enabled under the "RF Profiles" configuration which can be found under the "Wireless" tab of the WLC.

Hello Freerk,

"out-of-box" feature is not enabled on the WLC.

Configured Country............................... Multiple Countries:AT,BE,CH,CN ,CZ,DE,ES,FR,IT,PL,PT

Multiple Countries:AT,BE,CH,CN ,CZ,DE,ES,FR,IT,PL,PT

Radio is disabled because PRoC (country code of "CN") is not compatible with European Regulatory Domain.  Disable "China" (and maybe a reboot of the controller) and the radio will work.
