Hi Netpro

I need to acheive the below

1)i need to setup a Cisco unified wireless network , i need to configure 802.1X Auth to my  WiFi Users , we setup acs 5.3 as Radius connected to AD

can the 802.1X auth work without Certificate or its must , currently we dont have CA Server in my enterprise , if itsn't work can i use self cert on the acs it self?

2)on the acs access policy which protocol should i use TACACS+ or Radius?all dcs mentiond radius!

thanks

You can use a self signed certificate generated from ACS. You also must use radius not tacacs. Tacacs is for device management access not for user authentication.
