Recently I bought an AIR-AP1852I to use in my office.
I have never had a Cisco product before. We always had some cheap consumer APs before.
I connected the AP to the energy, and connected the POE port to a switch on my network.
The AP started showing the colors green, red and amber, I was waiting to appear a CiscoAirProvision SSID on Wifi
but did not appear.
I did some research and found that my AP is probably in Lightweight mode. For it to work as
standalone, I would have to convert it to use Cisco Mobility Express Software and that this has to be done via line
of command.
My question is, what procedures do I have to do to get access to the AP via the command line?
I even got to see what the ip DHCP gave to the AP, I can ping the IP of the AP, but I can not connect via telnet.
