Hi, I am a newbie at Cisco , I just Bought 1142N AP, I am unable to connect to it or open its Web interface, the Default IPs i am using are 10.0.0.1 for Router and 10.0.0.2 for my PC, Can anyone telll whats its Default IP, What IP address should I put on PC, plus Do i need the IOS for the AP?

If there is default IP address it should be 10.0.0.1 (for the AP). So you can leave your PC address at it is, and connect AP directly with your PC. Try to use this address on your browser: http://10.0.0.1 or https://10.0.0.1
Default Username login & password is : Cisco.
Anyway as Lee suggests you should use Console cable for IOS configuration. Your AP of course should have IOS, but it could be in "Autonomous" or "Lightweight" mode. If your AP has "Lightweight" IOS image , that means you will need to reinstall IOS ( Lightweight mode is used with Wireless LAN controller).
