Hello,
I have a Cisco Aironet 1532i (AIR-CAP1532I-E-K9) running in autonomous on software version 15.3(3)JD.
I use the access point for site surveys and configured the AP on a fixed transmit power and channel and measure its coverage.
Now the last 2 surveys I've had a lot of issues with DFS in the 5GHz band. It keeps switching and eventually every channel becomes unusable.. Is there a way to disable DFS as I don't have this many issues with other vendors.
Kind regards,
Tom

???
if you configured a fixed channel, and this is not a DFS channel, the AP should not need to switch channels!
what channel did you configure and what bandwith!
Wider bandwith uses multiple channels! so if only for site survey, stick to 20MHz.

you should not disable DFS!
but you can exclude the DFS channels from the available channels for Dynamic channel selection.
