Hi there,

Anybody knows what are the azimuth and elevation patterns of the new 1562D integrated antenna access point?

It comes with directional antenna:

AIR-ANT2413P2M-N=        13 dBi (2.4 GHz),        Directional, dual polarized
AIR-ANT5114P2M-N=        14 dBi (5GHz),            Directional, dual polarized

check the pattern of these two antenna on this link:

I don't understand, if there's a 1562E model without antenna, and a 1562D model with antennas (understand they're for free as the CCW does not add any additional line), why anyone is going to buy a 1562E?

Regarding the Cisco Antenna reference guide, is out-of-date as there's no reference to new models of antenna nor access points (at the end of the document). Another thing I see on this document is that there's a 1532 AP model with integrated antennas showing a directional radiation pattern itself without any external antenna.

Regards.

1562E means this AP need external antenna so without-antenna..how it will work.

check the antenna type used for these APs:

Just for clarification, are you saying that 1562D access point has integrated AIR-ANT2413P2M-N= and AIR-ANT5114P2M-N= antennas in it?

Thanks,
Frank

I had the same question. The answers in this thread are confusing.
